Henson Shakudo Linked Ring Set

Unisex sterling silver ring set linked together with a Shakudo pin.

Shakudo is a Japanese alloy used for hundreds of years in ornamental decoration. It is made by mixing pure gold with copper.

Please note we may not have every size listed online in stock, in which case your ring will be made to order. Made to order pieces are approximately 2 - 4 weeks, depending on the artisans present commissions..

*Please note the Shakudo will naturally tarnish as there is a high copper content to this alloy. It will turn a blueish colour, this is the desired effect and the beauty of the finish. The tarnish will polish off but it will always come back as the metal oxidises. The effect will be different every time and depends on what the metal comes into contact with. A clear lacquer has been applied to slow the process down however this will rub off with daily wear.
